Job Summary:
- The RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for a group of residents for a designated time frame. Care is provided to these residents via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. The RN will be competent to provide resident care according to the specific needs of the population as defined in the unit-specific addendum.
Patient Population:
- Providing residential care and ongoing medical and personal care services to individuals who cannot live independently due to chronic conditions or disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN License or a Multistate license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
- Must have a clear background check & AHCA Level 2 screening as well as pass a drug screening
Schedule & Shift Availability:
- Full-Time
- 3 – Twelve(12) hour shifts per week (rotating weekends)
- Day Shift: 7am to 7:30pm
- Night Shift: 7pm to 7:30am
- PRN Plan 1 – requires a minimum of one shift per pay period, no weekends/holidays required
- PRN Plan 2 - requires a minimum of 48 hours worked per pay period, holiday/weekend shifts required
- 3 – Twelve(12) hour shifts per week (rotating weekends)
Compensation & Benefits:
- The hourly rate is determined by years of experience as an RN and internal equity within the organization.
- Minimum rate starts at $32.50/hr., max salary range is $51.00/hr.
